En Route has developed a proprietary Content Management System (CMS) that is actually a lot more than just a regular CMS. It provides En Route's operations team with the capability to remotely control the entire network of screens straight from their computer screens. The entire CMS is hosted in the cloud, that allows for rapid scalability of the solution.
 
Briefly, the CMS is capable of :		  
    • Remote scheduling of content and advertisements
    • Day-parting of content
    • Permission-based authorization to ensure several checks are in place
    • Network monitoring
    • Alerting the operations team of any problems with screens
    • Software updating
    • Deep usage-behaviour analytics
The CMS is under constant development and several features such as location-based services and direct client reporting are being added.
