En Route's hardware system, Flo, consists of a touchscreen LCD screen that is installed in the back of a taxi's headrest. It is a standalone system that is capable of displaying various types of multimedia content, and allows two-way interaction between the passenger and the system. These systems also include the latest technologies, such as Bluetooth, RFID, GPS, and have the capability to run on the EVDO or 3G networks.

The interactivity and constant EVDO/3G connection open up a whole new world of possibilities that were previously only possible on the internet.

Flo has been developed keeping in mind the unforgiving heat and humidity that is prevalent in India, as well as the poor road conditions. This solution currently has a patent pending.
